I am humbled and privileged to serve in the Government of Kenya as a Cabinet Secretary, under the leadership of H. E. Dr William Samoei Ruto, PhD, CGH, President and Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces of the Republic of Kenya.
Over the years, I have served worthy causes. I have partnered with local communities in socio-economic activities and agents of real change. I have been involved with worthy political, social and economic causes. My ultimate objective is always to realize a better, fairer, equitable and all-inclusive Kenya.
I first came to Nairobi, after High School. I lived in the sprawling slums of Kibra. Here, I got first-hand experience of the reality in which those at the bottom of the social and economic ladder in our society live. I had a taste of the plight and challenges that a majority at this level live in. I have since held zealously to the vision of making life more liveable for those at the bottom.
Even as an ordinary Kenyan citizen, the people of Kibra and the country as a whole have known me as a strong defender and advocate for basic human rights, the rule of law, widening of the democratic space and key agent for real-change. Service is my passion.
